Due to the ongoing COVID Pandemic, ILR has had to make temporary changes to the way that it provides programs and services for the safety of staff and consumers. We are evaluating our policies continuously during this time and make changes based on the advice of the medical community, Wisconsin DHS and the CDC.
-All ILR offices are open and providing services. However, our buildings are closed to the general public. Please contact ILR by phone (608-787-1111), email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or via our website if you are need of information or services.
-ILR’s Assistive Technology program is operating, as well as our donation program for durable medical equipment. Please call ahead prior to dropping off donations so that arrangements can be made.
-RAVE Recovery Avenue:

If you are making a referral on behalf of someone who is homeless and who does not have a phone, please leave your contact information and the staff will contact you to problem solve how to get connected with the individual needing services.
Please note: ILR will closed for the holidays on Thursday, December 24th; Friday, December 25th and Friday, January 1st.
Centers for Independent Living (CILs) help people with disabilities achieve or maintain more self-sufficient and productive lives in their communities. People with disabilities are assisted in exploring alternatives to institutionalization and are encouraged to make their own decisions about how they will live. CILs directly provide or coordinate through referral those services which assist people in increasing their abilities to exercise control over their lives. Control over one’s life means having a choice of acceptable options that minimize reliance on others in making decisions and performing every day activities. This includes managing one’s own affairs, participating in day-to-day community life and fulfilling a range of social roles.
