What is Assistive Technology?
Assistive Technology (AT) is any product or equipment used to maintain or improve the functional capabilities of people with disabilities. These items may be commercially made products, common products that have been modified to serve a specific need, or custom-made devices. People of all ages can use assistive technology to help them at home, in school, at work or anywhere.

Assistive Technology Assessments
Staff are trained to provide assessments for persons with disabilities and their technology needs. Assessments include recomendations for technology choices and assistance locating and applying for financial assistance for equipment purchases. People also have the option of trying out adaptive equipment available for loan.
