Personal Care

ILR’s Personal Care Program serves individuals of all ages and disabilities.  True to the CIL philosophy, consumers have a choice in how their care is provided.  Understanding that every consumer has unique conditions and care needs, ILR believes:

  • Persons needing assistance in their homes should have the freedom and opportunity to control their own lives, manage their own affairs and live as they choose in the community. Our Personal Care Program is now all self-directed. If you need cares and have a staff that you would like us to consider, please call us.
  • Persons utilizing ILR services should take an active role in the planning, implementation and evaluation of our services.
  • Every consumer should be satisfied and comfortable with their service provided.

ILR’s Personal Care Services include “hands on” care such as:

  • Dressing, undressing and bathing assistance
  • Transfers and mobility, including walkers and Hoyer Lift
  • Teeth, dentures and mouth care
  • Toileting and incontinence assistance
  • Simple exercises
  • Skin care

ILR’s Supportive Home Care Services include duties that are not “hands on” care such as:

  • Light housekeeping
  • Meal Preparation
  • Companionship
  • Laundry, linen changing
  • Grocery shopping and other errands
  • Medication reminders

ILR’s Companion Care services are provided in a variety of settings with duties ranging from hands-on assistance as needed to simple companionship and observation.
