WHAT KIND OF HELP WILL BE OFFERED?

Independent Living Resources Staff will:

  • Explain the types of affordable housing available and how to access it, offer tips for your housing search, and discuss how to address negative rental history in a brief group presentation.
  • OFFER ONE-ON-ONE CONSULTATIONS IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE PRESENTATION.
  • Provide housing materials such as applications to immediately to begin your search.
  • Encourage consumers to RETURN to future clinics for continued assistance in completing and submitting applications, obtaining information about appeal processes, accessing rental and security deposit assistance, and tapping into other community resources
